William McKinley, our 25th president died at the John Millburn Home during the Pan-American Exposition and Theodore Roosevelt was inaugurated as our 26th president at the Ansley Wilcox Mansion. Buffalo is also home to Shea's Performing Arts Center which boasts one of the largest stages in the world and The Albright-Knox Art Gallery displays one of the world's best modern and contemporary art collections.
