Tree Lighting Ceremony to Spark Santa’s Arrival at Walden Galleria
–All guests invited to celebrate arrival of Santa Claus with magical lighting of 25-foot Christmas tree–
Buffalo, NY: With the holiday season approaching, Walden Galleria will be welcoming Santa Claus with a 2nd annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 9th, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm sponsored by Toys for Tots. Standing at 25-feet tall, this majestic tree is the largest to be displayed in the area’s only super-regional mall in over a decade! Decorated with red and gold ornaments and over 2,500 lights, the tree will be located near the Apple store, adjacent to the Santa Set.
Guests are invited to come out for the free event which will feature holiday music, light refreshments from Tim Hortons and Mrs. Fields, the opportunity to design your own holiday mug and other giveaways. Santa Claus will then use his holiday magic to light up the tree! Balloon artists and other popular holiday characters will also be in attendance for a meet and greet. Parents are encouraged to wear an ugly Christmas sweater to enter to win a $100 Melting Pot Gift Card. Guests who bring a toy donation for Toys for Tots valued at $10 or more will receive a special offer for their Santa photo package.
