Walden Galleria Extends Holiday Shopping Hours
— Hours of operation have been extended to accommodate peak of shopping season —
Buffalo, NY: Walden Galleria, the area’s largest shopping center, will be extending hours of operation in the weeks leading up to Christmas Day for holiday shopping convenience. Starting Monday, December 10th the mall will operate under an extended holiday hours schedule, opening at 9:00am and closing at 10:00pm. The week before Christmas, starting on Monday, December 17th, the shopping center will remain open until 11:00pm. Walden Galleria will be open from 8:00am until 5:00pm on Christmas Eve, December 24th for last-minute shoppers. The mall will be closed on Christmas Day with the exception of select restaurants and entertainment venues.
“We understand that purchasing holiday gifts can be stressful and finding the time to do so can be even more challenging,” says Alex Corbelli, marketing director for Walden Galleria. “By extending our shopping hours, we can accommodate individuals with demanding schedules and reduce the time-crunch while shopping.”
Walden Galleria has added almost 50 additional hours to its normal shopping schedule. Anchor stores like Macy’s, JCPenney and Lord & Taylor, which operate on their own schedules, have added even more additional hours during this holiday season to account for the rush of shoppers purchasing holiday gifts.
