Walden Galleria has teamed up with the Lyme Support Group of Western New York to host the first ever Stomp Out Lyme Fundraising Walk on Sunday, March 26th at 9:00am sponsored by West Herr Auto Group. The walk will help disseminate knowledge about Lyme disease and establish funding for medical treatments, foster education and advocacy, as well as assistance for future Lyme Support Group of WNY events. Registration will open at 8:00am on the lower level near the Melting Pot at Walden Galleria with the walk beginning promptly at 9:00am near Sears. Basket raffles and 50/50 tickets will be available for purchase with live music, food, and other chances to win prizes for all registered attendees.
“Walden Galleria is proud to bring attention to and host the first annual Stomp Out Lyme Fundraising Walk,” says marketing director, Marissa Romano. “We’re doing our part to help raise awareness and funding for a disease that sees over 50,000 cases in New York State each year, including misdiagnosed or unconfirmed cases, according to the New York State Center for Disease Control and Prevention.”
