Tree Lighting to Spark Santa’s Arrival at Walden Galleria
–All guests invited to celebrate arrival of Santa Claus with magical lighting of 25-foot Christmas tree–
Buffalo, NY: With the holiday season approaching, Walden Galleria will be welcoming Santa Claus on Friday, November 8th at 5:00 p.m. with a ceremonial tree lighting. Standing at 25-feet tall, this majestic tree is the largest to be displayed in the area’s only super-regional mall in over a decade! Decorated with red and gold ornaments and over 2,500 lights, the tree will be located near the Apple store, directly behind to the Santa Set. Guests are invited to visit Santa’s temporary home featuring holiday music, as Santa Claus himself will use his magic to light up the tree! Santa will be available to take photos starting at 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
For the remainder of the season, Santa will open his fireside living room as children, families and even pets are invited to experience magical moments and photo memories. Photo packages will be available starting Friday, November 8th until Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24th on the lower level between Apple and Clarks. Santa Set hours for the season are as follows:
- Mondays – Thursdays: 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Fridays & Saturdays: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Sundays: 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Pet Photo Nights, Mondays & Tuesdays (November 11th – December 17th): 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Santa’s Arrival & Tree Lighting, Friday November 8th from 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Walden Galleria’s 7th annual Santa Cares event series will be held on Sunday, December 1st and Sunday, December 8th from 9:00am – 11:00pm. These events are reserved for those with special needs to experience the magic of meeting Santa in a sensory-controlled environment. Children and families with special needs are encouraged to visit during this time.
